A short story by Stuart Mackaness about the Iron Hands Adeptus Astartes.
The
Reclausiam reverberated with the final strike of the massive cog shaped
gong at its entrance. With the Initiates and the other Apprentices of
his Clan Company having now left the chamber, he was the lowest ranking
Iron Hand present. Though he had his head bowed and knelt in a posture
of supplication he remained aware he was under the gaze of the Clan
Company’s Craftsmen and Master Artificers who had remained. Endiku stood
beside him, one hand resting on the shoulder greave of his armour.
Endiku had been initiated into the chapter at the same time as Gilag and
it was a point of pride that he would bear witness to what was to come....
