As I said, it covers SOME of the additional printing, but certainly not all of it.
Also we cannot pass really passs on VAT, delivery and the like to those wishing for an extra copy.

£5 must be in a non sequential bills, in a brown paper bag...(eh?!)

We do this for the love not the cash trust me. If we did, the event team would turn up at each event with glowing tans from 2 weeks in the West Indies "prepping and brainstorming" for each event. Alas, stu cannot even get a "tan in a can" from our tight budget!

Quick question that cropped up in a game last week.

Necron tombspiders - do you get a kill point for each one (as they are in effect individual on map) or 1 point for all 3 as they are 1 choice for the army lists?

Secodly can the scarab lord heal/teleport form any scarab swarms on the table , including the ones made by the tomb spiders and the itch man ? I assume yes (and played it that way) unless theres a definate no about it.

Thanks for listening.

Troops in a bunker is still troops in cover.

The pseudo-cover save for a fast moving skimmer is to represent it moving so fast across the sights that it's hard to track.

That's why the Hydra for example has a tracking radar that negates the flat out speed issue.

Not all AA weapons are that good at tracking - flak guns and ballistic missiles are 2 examples that spring to mind.

As Ig said, the packs override any standard rules, as they are put in to balance out the oddities of pack specific items etc.

Unless of course Stu updates that bit ahead of the print run!!!

I didn't mention Mk6 since I don't really count it as pre-heresy, and there's already plenty of plastic components for them anyway (well other than breastplates).

Basically I'm looking for 2 or 3 of each set from Mk2-5.

I've had a bit of interest from the GreatCrusade forum too though, so if you are seriously interested PM me with what you are after.

Cheers,

So...
Last time I was here was for the Black Crusade (Seems having children and changing jobs can put a real dampner on your gaming) so I've missed the whole of M31 :-O
I'm being slowly educated as to 5th edition by a patient brother-in-law so should be back to having a clue by may (which conveniently places me ready for AoA).
I know Ulf has put a comment regarding AoA speculation but I'm just wondering if there will be any Ork inclusion (as all my other models / armies have gone to more deserving people than myself), I figure if the wife and I can make babies in 9 months I should be ok building an army by then.
On the plus side I do feel like i'm coming back to the hobby from a complete blank (mainly due only having a 5th ed RB, a few out of date codexes 15 blackreach copters and a FW Keeper of Secrets)...
no paints, no brushes, no models and no clue how to play. I'm looking forward to it already :)

As far as I know there are only three or four of us but I figured it'd be nice if we all had somewhere to discuss characters, army lists and painting.

So, how far have you got with your painting? What characters are you using? etc etc

As it stands (though again, subject to change) the CC version of Scrap code was as follows.

Substitute CC attack to launch a Scrap Code attack

1-3 (or 1-2, can't recall) no effect

4-5 (or 3-5) immediatly gain control of one of the vehicles weapons and use it on a target within range and in the vehicles line of sight

6 - automatic penetrating hit, roll on the table again..

Mmmmmmm using the enemys weapons against them...

I believe.. the bloat nurse will have a shooting attack similar to the above.. so, rather than rearm it with new weapons.. it just borrows the other players for a short while !

So im wondering,
What exactly are you guys using to represent your models? :) Post pictures too if you can!
Im being selfish so i dont really want to post too many pictures of my army - i dont want to ruin the surprise!

This is what im doing myself for some of the units:

This is what ive done for my Architect:

And as for my minions, you can see them next to the architect here!
My minions are Renegade Guard with pistols and tentacle arms. and ALOT of tentacles... oh god... so many tentacles... individually sculpted tentacles...
(Yes my soul has literally been torn and ripped to shreds putting this together, and i still have alot to do for my army [not even mentioning painting]).

My warpsmith is a soul grinder, with alot of milliput and greenstuff and greenstuff-milliput mixes and plasticard in places etc.
Hes going to be one of my army's centrepeices so youll have to wait to see him in detail ;)

My Slaughterfiend is a Defiler kit heavily converted, its basically ripped completely off someone on warseer. Its a defiler converted to look like a giant juggernaught sort of and has 4 of those big claw weapons.

As for my Pit Fodder ive been really lazy and just used plastic vampire counts ghouls to reprisent them. As for my Dread Magi, ive taken the bodies of Empire Flagellants, and sculpted various heads and tentacle arms.

For my Malefic Swarms, well, youve seen those cute little buggers.

Youve seen my Warp Wyrm, my next one or two will be thicker :)

And as for my Fleshfactory ive so far got a plastic cup completely covered in putty to make a sort of pear shaped base for the model for which i am going to sculpt the most terrifying thing you will ever see ;)

The pack looks fantastic thanks, but I was just wondering about the fallen dark angels - us sulky, whinny and bitter fools dont want to be missed out, and may need some time to convert our forces from the fighting on caliban to renew the struggle. I realise you have lots to do, and we can't be a priority, but after being abandoned by our primarch on caliban (curse his name) we get twitchy when left alone, with no outward sign of affection, like a list. Are we on the way (please)?
