I think I like the Squig Hoppers the best as I love Squigs, and always tried to have Squigs of one sort or another in my own Orc army from many years back.

thanks!
I'll try a fulla rmy shot once I've got the skaven finished and the movement trays done as well - should be within the next 2 weeks with a little luck.

I'm going to be a man of my word
My army for the campaign weekend is complete!!
I found the clanrats quite hard slog rather than good fun (although the characters were nice) and I'm glad its ready. I'll take some oics as soon as the kids are in bed and should be able to post them up this evening - including a full-army shot.

Its fun.
The war party is incredibly weak. Night Goblins and Skaven are both horde armies - but I can't have a horde of them! Animosity and the randomness of the squigs and fanatics adds more insanity to the mix so not much of the army is under my control. The low leadership is only really a problem for the night goblin block though, so at least I have that...
Considering that I've not used either race before I'm finding that I'm enjoying them both.
Graug as a hammerblow is very odd - the problem with him being the decision of when to commit him to combat - if he gets mired he's dead, and that can happen more often than I'd like.
The main battallion is interesting as graug's base size means that interesting things happen when a friendly unit flees through him and effectlivly "bounces" an extra 12" and then rallies (since they are in his range for leadership and the skaven have musicians). He doesn't "bring the army together though" - he's not a balancing force. He does draw a lot of fire though and dominate an area of the board and that can be used to move the troops around too.
I'll tell you something though - the spiders are my best friends, oh yes!!!
I'll be testing it against a normal dwarf army on Monday.

This is the picture that Scares me the most as Graug looks truely mega scary when put in the middle of the rest of your army.
Look forward to hearing how the Dwarf battle goes.

Thanks SG - I do believe that graug's bark is worse than his bite though. As long as you hit him hard and ingore the chaff, or as long as you have a trick (which all the campaign armies do) he's beatable.
I'll post about the dwarf battle as soon as I can.
I've already started on my next project now - the grey kngihts - and built my first land raider today ever onwards!
